The professional training program for drivers under 30 that 10 selected participants undertook in 2018 has come to its end.
The call for applications, innovative in its kind, has been launched on February 2018 based on the principle that the preparation in order to become a professional driver is other than a simple process: a solid training is necessary, as well as “D” driving licence and a Qualification Paper for being a driver for people (“CQC Persone”).
Apam decided to be engaged in the training of young people interested and motivated to start this career, assuring all the necessary free training for 10 candidates selected after a careful curricula selection and several motivational interviews.
The training process started in July 2018 and was divided in two phases, one inside and one outside the company at a driving school authorised to issue “D” driving licences and CQC; now the drivers - 1 woman and 9 men aged on average 29 – are ready to become a part of APAM staff: within the end of the month they will be put to the final CQC test and eight of them will start working on the first days of April, starting their journey in Apam.
In the next few months the second call for applications for the selection and training of new young participants will be launched, with the intention to make this new personnel search formula a permanent practice.
