APAM, in cooperation with other important Italian and European companies, obtained funds from LIFE program of EU commission for “LIFE CAT4HEAVY” project.
LIFE program is the funding instrument adopted by EU Commission to promote actions and politics aimed at meeting environmental and climate needs and issues within the community territory; “LIFE CAT4HEAVY” project’s goal is the study of new solutions for the reduction of polluting emissions from public transport vehicles.
The duration of the project is 36 months and it is developed in different phases; APAM participates as case study: after some laboratory tests a special anti – emissions membrane will be applied on some suburban vehicles that will undergo some tests.
