According to the Resolution no. 1204/2010, 2743/2011 and 3297/2012, the Region of Lombardy has set up the integrated ticket option Io Viaggio which allows you to travel by local public transport on favorable conditions.
Integrated travel passes offer free travel on all public transport networks in the Lombardy Region.

If the pass is loaded onto the new CRS with transport functionality, the CRS is valid as an "Io Viaggio" card. However, it must always be accompanied by a valid ID. Furthermore, to avoid penalties, you must have the top-up receipt or payment receipt for the pass purchase.

The travel ticket for minors is free and nominative, and includes a list of the accompanying adults authorized to travel free of charge with the minor on public transport in Lombardy. The card is valid until the minor's 14th birthday.

Discounts for families with multiple children
Families who purchase multiple monthly or annual passes for their minor children are entitled to a 20% discount on the purchase of the second pass and free travel from the third pass onwards.
For example, if a family purchases two annual passes, one in Tier 3 and one in Tier 2, the 20% discount will be applied to the Tier 2 pass (the least expensive): €474 - 20% = €388. T

Discounts and free passes apply to passes with the same validity period (monthly or annual), starting with the least expensive: when purchasing two passes, the 20% discount applies to the cheapest pass. When purchasing three or more passes, the free pass applies to the cheapest pass. The discount CANNOT be combined with other discounts (e.g., student passes).

The IVOL Agevolata annual pass is a reduced-fare travel pass that allows you to use public transportation services in Lombardy, including urban and intercity buses, trams, the subway, second-class suburban and regional trains, cable cars, funiculars, and Lake Iseo boat services. It also allows access to subway and rail access points.
To request the IVOL Agevolata pass, please contact the Lombardy Region offices. After processing and a successful application, you will receive a pre-filled postal payment slip with your name on it, which must be paid exclusively at Poste Italiane SpA offices.
After paying the payment slip, you will also receive your electronic card at home.
